Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s largest city, and also its most popular tourist destination. Being the most populated city in the country helps as well, as it gives tourists plenty to do and various good ways to spend their time.

In Kuala Lumpur, there is a lot to discover about Malaysian history – there are various museums and cultural sites which offer an excellent experience in this regard. You could take a historical tour if you go down to Merdeka Square. The largest building there – the Sultan Abdul Samad building – currently serves as the High Court of Malaysia and is built in a very rich, beautiful architectural style.

The Petronas twin towers are a popular attraction as well, known for being the tallest twin tower structure in the world. Inside them you’ll find all the different facilities and service you’ll need to spend an entire day if you wished – and with both towers being 452 meters high, the view from above is something you will never see in your entire life!

The Butterfly park is another popular location for tourists, situated close to the Bird park. This one concentrates more on nature and wildlife, offering various species of plants as its scenery, with fountains and small elegant ponds completing the picture and creating a very peaceful and delightful spot for taking a slow stroll in the afternoon.

And of course, do not forget to visit the Coliseum – what kind of a holiday in Kuala Lumpur would yours be if you did not go through there? Don’t be surprised when you do not see an actual Coliseum there though – that’s just a name for a hotel, though one that’s been preserved excellently for almost a century and offers not only great accommodation but also a restaurant famous across the nation for its delicacies.
