Hong Kong Holidays
Hong Kong is one of the most popular tourist destinations in China, and also one of the places with the most to offer there. If you are planning on spending a week or two on a holiday in Hong Kong, plan ahead so that you’ll be able to spend your time as best as possible! Whether you’re into modern architecture and technology, culture and history, or simple relaxation, Hong Kong has it all and it’s up to you to choose a way to spend your holiday.
If you want to start your holiday in Hong Kong with something cultural, go to the Man Mo temple, which is one of the most well-known ones in the city. You can get there from Hollywood Road, and even though it’s one of the more recently built ones, it’s actively populated and still used today – walking inside will present you with the sight of numerous worshippers praying devotedly.
Hong Kong is a beautiful town – but you can hardly get to see all it has to offer from below, so why not climb to Victoria Peak and see the town from above, in a way that will be captured in your mind forever. From almost half a kilometer above, you will get to see the beauty of Hong Kong’s creative combination of modern architecture with classic temples and other structures.
No holiday in Hong Kong would be complete without a shopping trip around Stanley Market – it’s one of the most popular tourist shopping destinations, and you can get anything from cheap discounted electronics to various antiques and souvenirs, including handmade items and clothing. The market is quite large so explore as much as you can – and always try to haggle as it’s not only accepted around here, it’s actually expected from you!
