Montego Bay is the best resort to be in if you like it “lively” – it has a vibrant “Hip Strip” with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. It is also famous for it’s Doctor’s Cave beach with it’s alleged calming therapeutic spring fed water, attractions like the haunted Rose Hall Great House and rafting on the nearby Great River.
Negril is more laid back, spread out along a 7-mile stretch of golden beach. The capital of casual, Negril is perfect for lovers and sun worshippers, and for those who want a bit of adventure to explore the grotto lined cliffs on the West end which is great for snorkelling, watching cliff divers and experiencing the best sunsets nature has to offer.
Ocho Rios is a world-class destination and lays claim to an incredible variety of natural and manmade beauty. Characterised by luxuriant greenery, mountains that soar down to meet stunning beaches, and the world-renowned Dunn's River Falls. Having explored the majesty of Mother Nature, don't forget to take in all the hustle and bustle of Ocho Rios' crafts market, duty-free shops and local colour.
