LOCATION:
Caribbean Village Playa Dorada is a short 20 minute ride from the Puerto Plata airport on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic and is located in the heart of the Playa Dorada.

PROPERTY:
This beautiful resort is spread over 16 tropically landscaped acres and bordering a championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones and is just 700 metres from the famed golden beaches of Playa Dorada. The resort operates an All Inclusive programme that includes a children’s club with varied and entertaining activities during the day for children from 4 - 12 years old including a mini-disco and an activity programme at the beach and swimming pool. Other facilities and amenities at the resort include non motorised water-sports, scuba diving clinic in the swimming pool, transportation to the beach from 8.30am to 5pm, chaise lounges and umbrellas in the beach area and swimming pool, towel service at the swimming pool, gym and Jacuzzi, 30 mins of horseback riding per person per week, entertainment shows every night, tennis courts, handball court, basketball area and a beach volleyball area.

The hotel has a main restaurant, an Italian a la carte restaurant, a Brazilian style restaurant and a poolside beach club which is available for lunch snacks. There are also numerous bars where guests can enjoy a relaxing drink. In our opinion this resort will appeal to couples and families looking for all-inclusive accommodation with varied facilities for the sports minded or those who just want to soak up the sun.

ACCOMMODATION:
The 336-room Caribbean Village boasts spacious, air-conditioned accommodation located in over 45 two-storey pastel-coloured villas. All rooms have a complete bathroom with shower and bathtub, cable television, direct-dial telephone and a balcony or terrace with views of the resort's gardens or the golf course. The decor is tropical plantation-style with pink walls, terracotta tiled floors and dark wood and rattan furnishings.
